Champagne Taittinger Sparkles at the BAFTAs

Champagne Taittinger and Villa Maria wines from New Zealand, official wine partners to BAFTA, were on hand to help spread the romance on this special Valentine’s evening.

The Revenant received 5 BAFTAs last night at the EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Opera House, including Best Film, Director, Cinematography, Sound and Leading Actor for Leonardo DiCaprio.

Champagne Taittinger, official Champagne Partner to the British Academy for the 14th year running, once again added extra sparkle to the proceedings, not least through the attendance of Vitalie Taittinger. Vitalie is the Marketing Director at Champagne Taittinger and daughter of President, Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger.

Special BAFTA labelled Magnums and 75cl bottles of Champagne Taittinger Brut Réserve NV were produced for the awards. A bottle was also included in the gift bags, given to all nominees and presenters. Taittinger is one of the few premium Champagne houses to remain owned and actively managed by the named family. It is proud to support the work of BAFTA to acknowledge and encourage the highest achievements in film and television.
