Cheers to Speed and Success: Ferrari Trento Marks 3rd Season as Formula 1®’s Celebratory Toast
8th December 2023
As the Grand Prix Season wrapped up in Abu Dhabi at the end of last month, Ferrari Trento, a beacon of Italian sparkling wine excellence, looks back on a victorious season as Formula 1®’s Official Toast. The exhilarating 2023 season featured 72 Ferrari Trento Jeroboams sprayed by winners across 5 continents. The F1® circuit, spanning various countries, saw nearly 100,000 corks popped, inspiring celebrations in top-tier venues like the Paddock Club and Champions Club, as well as in bars, restaurants, and resorts, extending the Formula 1® excitement off the track.
The Season’s closing moment was at the Yas Marina Circuit on 26th November. Racers competed for glory on this iconic track, with Season winner Max Verstappen triumphantly celebrating on the podium after a gripping race, capping off an unforgettable season.
A 2023 highlight was the inaugural Grand Prix in Las Vegas, where Formula 1® enlivened the city streets, reflecting the sport’s dynamic evolution. Formula 1®’s expansion in the United States is evident, with races increasing from one to three, underscoring its growing appeal to the American audience. This interest in Formula 1® has extended globally, attracting celebrities, sports stars, and entrepreneurs to various Grand Prix events, adding a glamorous flair to this traditional motorsport.
Beyond race celebrations, Ferrari Trento’s steadfast commitment to supporting important charitable causes continued this year, with their projects that successfully raised a global sum of £77,000. The auction of Ferrari Podium Jeroboam bottles signed by winning drivers on F1 Authentics benefited primarily Sir Jackie Stewart’s ‘Race Against Dementia’ charity. In response to the Imola floods, Ferrari Trento auctioned off the podium Jeroboam, signed by all the drivers of the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship™, to raise funds for those affected by the emergency. F1® and its partners showcased remarkable teamwork and solidarity in this swift response to the crisis, which in total raised £247,171 to help residents of Emilia Romagna.
Matteo Lunelli, Chairman and CEO of Ferrari Trento, adds: “The 2023 F1® season proved more glamourous and electrifying than ever. Ferrari Trento’s celebration of speed and success brought a touch of Italian Style into the races’ events and hospitality. We are equally proud that our involvement in Formula 1® goes beyond being the toast of victory, championing a legacy of excellence and embodying a spirit of resilience and unity through the support of some charity initiatives”.
