Bodega Cruzat – Cuvée Extra Brut

Bodega Cruzat was founded in 2004 by a group of Chilean businessmen and by Argentine agricultural engineer and winemaker Pedro Federico Rosell.

Wester Distillery

‘Putting a modern twist on the traditional’ Wester Distillery have been bucking the trends and being bold in how they distille their rums since 2018 in Glasgow’s industrial heartland, although surrounded by history, doesn’t mean they do things the old-fashioned way, respecting the past but moving forward, making new rules, not following the old school.

They import the some of the finest authentic rums from the shores of Jamaica and Guyana, from there, they blend every drop with an array of plentiful flavours.

Wester also pride themselves on beeing a zero-waste business, all their waste is re-purposed, plus thier energy comes from 100% renewable sources and their packaging is 100% recyclable.

“A strong, rich and dark aroma of cocoa, light notes of pastries sprinkled with cocoa powder, ‘90%’ Dark Chocolate, with shy notes of bark/woody spices. The chocolate character is the main force that captivates you here, leaving a slightly cocoa bitterness in the length on the palate. Rum is a good spirit to have used here as the base, adding to the warmth and flavour, but doesn’t make itself overly known to the drinker. Wester Distillery does a fantastic job of creating blends that taste natural and of high quality, rather than just a rum-based liqueur with chocolate flavours added. You can certainly enjoy it on its own, but note that it’s a dark chocolate character rather than a creamy milk chocolate. It also pairs fantastically within a cream based cocktail, over vanilla ice cream or a top a freshly baked apple pie for instance.” – Glass of Bubbly

  • 100mls Sparkling Wine
  • Sprinkle with Chocolate Powder
