Cuvée Nicole Moncuit “Vielle Vigne” Millésime 2004
20th October 2014
An exclusive Brut Blanc de Blancs from Pierre Moncuit. Using grapes harvested from vines over 90 years old, this is a true reflection of the earth and the environemnt. A rich and balanced Champagne.
On the Eye: Clear with the green tints associated with a Blanc de Blancs
On the Nose: This wine reveals hazelnuts, toasted almonds and coffee aromas, and sometimes notes of truffle which express the terroir
On the Palate: To taste it is frank and lively with beautiful brioche notes. A caramel ending gives this champagne a maturity which is long and expressive.
Food Pairing: Great as an aperitif with toasts and Foie Gras or scallops.
