Definition by Majestic Bacchus English Wine

When it comes to white grapes in England, Bacchus sets the standard with its fresh and crisp profile. This example is made by Henners Vineyard, established in 2007 in the East Sussex village of Herstmonceux by ex-F1 race engineer Lawrence Warr. A recent expansion has brought in a new cellar door and state-of-the-art winery, but the real magic comes from the land, which benefits from strong coastal influences, low elevation and free-draining clay soils. – Majestic

Food Pairing Suggestion: A great pairing for pork tenderloin, hake or buttery veg.

“Fresh air, herbal gardens, wild thyme and herbs, flavours are subtle with a punchy herbal and citrus character, slighly sweet in the palate, not a lot of depth of character to explore, with a smooth close.” – Glass of Bubbly
