Discover Champagne in Reims

Reims is a city steeped in history and for more than 1,000 years, 33 French kings were crowned at its Cathédrale Notre-Dame. It is also at the heart of France’s Champagne region. Only wines made in the area can have the name Champagne. Reims has five sites that have official UNESCO World Heritage status, with the latest being awarded to the Champagne industry itself.
Many of the largest Champagne houses have their headquarters in Reims and most open for tasting and tours. Champagne ages in the 250 km of cellars under Reims, carved from chalk, some of the caves and tunnels date back to Roman times. Discover the world of Champagne from both above and underground.
They also hold the 3rd biggest Christmas Village in France, held from 25 November to 31 January.
