Discovering Modena at Restaurant Theo Randall
18th June 2024
Within a private dining room of Restaurant Theo Randall at the Hotel Intercontinental Park Lane, Piacere Modena was delighted to welcome members of the wine and food press, along with influencers of the same, to discover some products from Modena. Everyone was greeted with a glass of Lambrusco from Cleto Chiarli. The evening was followed by a glass paired with each dish, it was the task of Theo Randall himself to put together 4 incredible dishes, utilising fresh ingredients from Modena for everyone to taste and discover.
The evening began with an introduction from Claudio Guidetti, the Vice President of Piacere Modena, sharing his passion and vision for the future of Modena.
The Lambrusco first served was from Cleto Chiarli, which has been producing wines since 1860, where quality is within everyone’s reach, every day, always attentive to market developments and consumer tastes, Chiarli dedicates all its energy to enhancing its wines and making them successful in terms of quality/price ratio. Today in the Chiarli Cellars a complete range of quality wines is produced that can satisfy the most diverse tastes, in every part of the world.
Cleto Chiarli – Vigneto Cialdini N.V. – “Fizzy aroma of dark berries and strawberries. Alive in the palate with fresh dark berry fruit flavours and a layer of tannins.”

The dinner was informal in nature, with the aim to introduce the region to those who did not know and expand the knowledge of those who did, trying to encourage conversation about the products, dishes and wines throughout the dinner.
Theo Randell was present throughout the evening, presenting the courses, and explaining with passion how he used each ingredient from Modena to craft his delicious dishes.
There is no denying that Modena has some wonderful ingredients for crafting exquisite meals and a talented array of individuals producing some top quality bubbly from Lambrusco. There is a lot more to explore, and we’ll soon be able to discover more about Modena on Glass of Bubbly.
