The newly opened Dolloway Terrace at The Bloomsbury Hotel can transform with the seasons from an indoor garden to alfresco dining thanks to its convertible roof.

It’s a cosy, garden-style bar & restaurant, with flowers, hedges and plants. Fully heated in winter, it offers the peace and charm of a secluded secret garden, even when you’re indoors.

For the warmer weather, the retractable roof allows the venue to become a light, elegant and beautiful outdoor space in the spring and summer months.

Open from 7am daily, guests can enjoy a light breakfast, brunch and all day favourites. Alternatively, the small plate menu available from 12 noon daily is the perfect accompaniment to a crisp glass of bubbly.

You can also enjoy a quintessentially British summer afternoon tea experience, even in the cold weather! Even better, there is an English sparkling wine afternoon tea available.

Bubbly afternoon teas:

  • Champagne Afternoon Tea £45 Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut, France, NV
  • English Sparkling Afternoon Tea £40 Ridgeview Bloomsbury, Sussex, 2013

Dolloway Terrace is a great place to enjoy a glass of English fizz, with 3 available on their wine list: Nyetimber Classic Cuvée, Nyetimber Blanc de Blancs and Ridgeview Bloomsbury NV.

There’s also a Prosecco (Vapore o Prosecco) and Champagne selection (Perrier-Jouët, Bollinger, Dom Péringon). There’s a few Champagne cocktails on offer as well.
