Enjoy a Glass of Bubbly & Dessert at Hotel Café Royal

There’s a new tasting experience at Hotel Café Royal’s dessert restaurant, with sweet plates designed by Executive Pastry Chef, Sarah Barber and savoury bites created by Chef de Cuisine, Armand Sablon.
Taking inspiration from the beginning of the Summer season, the new dessert tasting menus will highlight Sarah’s creative skill and imagination and include the Strawberry and Cream Lollipop with poached strawberries and vanilla cremeux; Yuzu Yoghurt Lego, with lemon curd, lemon sherbet and meringues and Pina Colada Mousse with lime bubbles, coconut marshmallows and pineapple compote.
Sarah’s playful, contemporary style will also be highlighted by the Wham Bam Pow, consisting of a chocolate box filled with an olive oil biscuit, passion and ginger pâte de fruit, chocolate popping candy, and whipped ganache.
To complement Sarah Barber’s desserts, Café Royal’s Chef de Cuisine, Armand Sablon, has created a menu of seasonal savoury bites, including Tomato Gazpacho with burrata, watermelon, basil and ibérico ham; London Cured Smoked Salmon with pea and mint purée and pickled cucumber and Beef Carpaccio with shallot purée, Parmesan marshmallow and salsa verde.
The Pâtisserie offers petit gâteau such as Pistachio & apricot mille feuille; Strawberry lemon candy cane; Raspberry rose sphere; and large entrements such as Strawberry crispy mousse with almond sponge and lemon curd and Black Forest gâteau with chocolate mushrooms.
