1st April 2015

Here are some suggestions of where you can enjoy a glass of Welsh sparkling wine and stay the night in a vineyard in Wales.

Ancre Hill Estates

Stay in a newly refurbished 3 bedroom cottage overlooking the vineyard, within 10 minutes walking distance of the historic border town of Monmouth.

On arrival guests will be greeted with a welcome hamper containing all the essentials, including a bottle of Ancre Hill Estate Wine. Guests will also receive a discount on Estate Wines during their stay.

Glyndwr Vineyard

The oldest established vineyard in Wales was founded in 1982 by Richard and Susan Norris. In the Vale of Glamorgan, just 3 minutes’ drive from the market town of Cowbridge, Glyndwr Vineyard offers a charming bed and breakfast and Self Catering retreat in South Wales. Overlooking ponds and surrounded by lawns, wild flowers and a 6-acre vineyard.

Sugarloaf Vineyards

Sugarloaf Holiday Cottages are situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park land at the foothills of the Sugarloaf Mountain, Abergavenny. The self catering holiday cottages offer a great base for exploring the Brecon Becons and the Wye Valley. A great countryside retreat but still only one mile from the market town of Abergavenny and you won’t tire of the fantastic scenery at Sugarloaf Vineyards.

Guests receive a bottle of complimentary wine from the Vineyards on arrival.

Llanerch Vineyard

Llanerch Vineyard has 10 rooms of 5* graded accommodation located in both the main farmhouse and the adjacent building, the studios. There are breathtaking views right across the vines which are set against the backdrop of the Welsh hills.
