Enjoy Champagne for £10 a glass at Les 110 de Taillevent
6th September 2016
From September, upmarket London bistro Les 110 de Taillevent, in Cavendish Square, will be introducing monthly pouring Champagnes by the glass to boost their innovative wine-pairing offering. For £10 per glass, guests can taste a different top quality Champagne each month.
September’s Champagne will be Billecart-Salmon’s Brut Réserve, an elegant and slightly silky Champagne with a precise, floral finish and a mature nose. This will be followed by Ruinart’s balanced and full-bodied R de Ruinart in October, Roederer’s complex yet fresh Brut Premier in November and Bollinger’s fruity and spicy Special Cuvée in December. 2017 will start with Laurent-Perrier’s balanced and fresh Brut in January and Jacquesson’s velvety and refreshing Cuvée 738 in February.
Les 110 de Taillevent opened late last year and is already known for carefully pairing its extensive list of 110 rare and singular wines by the glass with its 30 seasonal French dishes across four price brackets – less than £8, less than £14, less than £20 and over £20. It is run by the Gardinier family, the group behind the iconic two-Michelin starred Le Taillevent and the original Les 110 de Taillevent, both in Paris. This vast selection of wines and Champagne by the glass has been carefully curated by Pierre Bérot, Director of Wine for Taillevent Paris.
