Enjoy Low Alcohol Sparkling Wines This Christmas From Tesco

Christmas is very close by and you may not want to celebrate the day with a lot of alcohol, but you can still enjoy the fizzy taste with much lower alcohol content, less than 0.5% to be more precise.

Tesco has two Low Alcohol Sparkling Wines from Spain to enjoy this Christmas and the crazy thing is, they will only cost you £2.75 a bottle

I’m going to taste the Low Alcohol Sparkling Wines and then pair them both with a couple of Mince Pies from Tesco’s, available for only £0.87

Low Alcohol Sparkling Wines

These Sparkling Wines are made with a technology called ‘spinning cone’ that removes the alcohol leaving only 0.5%.

Mince Pies

Christmas is a time to treat yourself with gifts and food, and one of the most famous Christmas treats, are Mince Pies.

Mince Pies first originated from England during the 13th century, back when they were first made, they were known as Christmas pies, mutton pies or shrid pies. they used to be made with pasty, meats, dried fruits and spices, but nowadays, they’ve removed the meat, most Mince Pies sold today are vegetarian friendly, but it is still worth checking the packaging as some will have meat in the suet.

Mince Pie Tasting Notes – “A nice balance of pastry and filling with sweet fruity flavours and a nice touch of spice.”

Sparkling N.V. & Mince Pie Tasting Notes – “The Sparkling Wine adds an element of citrus to the mince pie, it also lessons the pastry flavours and allows the sugar and fruity flavours to sweeten the paring.”
