The Favourite Champagne Labels of Famous Celebrities

Looking beyond what many of us would recognise in the world of Champagne labels and their admirers, beyond the James Bond loves Bollinger and Sir Winston Churchill preferred Pol Roger, let us look at some other well known and loved faces and their choice of bubbly:

Peter Sellers – Dom Perignon – The well known and loved actor of films such as The Pink Panther and Dr Strangelove and voice behind many characters on The Goons radio show, Peter loved his Dom Perignon.

Marilyn Monroe – An icon whose memory lives with us as fresh as it did when she was hitting the world headlines as the worlds most popular sex symbol of the 1950s would be another lover of Dom Perignon and the then vintage of the time, 1953.

Britt Ekland – Ruinart Rosé – Once wife of the pre mentioned Peter Sellers and TV and film star in her own right, when we interviewed Britt for the Glass of Bubbly magazine she admitted having been in love with many Champagne labels over the years, but now prefers the rosé of Ruinart.

Leonardo DiCaprio – The ever so popular and eye catching Armand de Brignac is the most favoured Champagne for many celebrities and Leonardo is another fan of the golden bottles from the brand now owned by Jay Z!

Kate Hudson – Mumm –  American actress and daughter of Goldie Hawn, it is the red striped label of GH Mumm which gets the vote.

Scarlet Johansson – Being titled as the brand’s celebrity ambassador it is no wonder that Moët & Chandon Champagne is Scarlet’s choice of fizz!

Beyonce – Another strike for the famous golden bottle of Armand de Brignac and most certainly mixed in with Jay Z’s presence somewhere down the line…

Lady GAGA – Dom Perignon that offers many wine connoisseurs such pleasurable aromas and tastes with its vintages is the favoured one for Lady GAGA!
