Champagne Taittinger, the official Champagne Partner to BAFTA, has donated a methuselah (equivalent of eight 75cl bottles) of Champagne which has been signed by no less than 36 guests that attended the EE British Academy Film Awards.

The bottle will be auctioned off later this year to raise funds to support BAFTA – an independent charity that supports, develops and promotes the art forms of the moving image by identifying and rewarding excellence, inspiring practitioners and benefiting the public.  Amongst the celebrities to sign the bottle were, Sam Rockwell, Salma Hayek, Denis Quaid and Rachel Weisz and many more.

Special BAFTA labelled Magnums, 75cl bottles and a Taittinger Time centrepiece were produced as part of the celebrations for the Awards this year.

Taittinger is one of the few premium Champagne houses to remain owned and actively managed by the named family.  It is proud to support the work of BAFTA to acknowledge and encourage the highest achievements in film, games and television.
