First Date Award Winning Wines 2025

The judges at the Glass of Bubbly Awards place each wine into a relevant consumer-friendly category. They are then scored for how well they fit that category, with the highest scoring winning the trophy.

For the First Date Category, the judges were looking for the perfect wines to accompany that first date. Nothing too complex and not necessarily a wine that needs to pair with exact foods.

Judges Tasting Notes – Light, delicate floral aromas with gentle apple and elderflower. Really fresh, crisp apple on the palate with peaches and cream – an excellent example of the style.
