Fox & Fox Launch their Jubilee Special Edition: The Elizabethan Blanc de Blancs 2014

Fox & Fox have produced an exciting new Special Edition that raises a glass to Her Majesty’s 70
years as Queen.

Kept in reserve from the highly regarded 2014 vintage, this elegant Blanc de Blancs has 7 years
on lees ( a nod to the 70 years of the Platinum Jubilee).

The wine is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, with the complexity you’d expect from a less-
aged Chardonnay with evocative and enticing floral notes from the Pinot Gris creating an
inviting bouquet on the nose and delicious flavours in the mouth. The Fox & Fox tradition of a
rich, soft mousse with luxurious soft bubbles and a long finish is, of course, present in this wine.

proud of having done so. Like so many of us; I have been an Elizabethan all my life so we’ve put
our heart and soul into making a wine that is both special and crowd-pleasingly perfect for

unique for such a special event.”

The Elizabethan has been made to be enjoyed either as an aperitif or as a great companion to
food. The balance of flavour and acidity combined with the creaminess of the bubbles has
delivered a wine that is as good with a sausage-on-a-stick as it is with an afternoon cream tea.

It is a good companion to more formal meals too. As all our wines are Vegan certified, it’s a
great option if entertaining, no need to worry about your guests being able to enjoy it.

The Elizabethan was previewed at the April Glass of Bubbly tasting at the Savoy Hotel, where it
was acclaimed and widely enjoyed.
