Fox & Fox launches trio of sparkling wines to raise funds for The Drinks Trust

English wine producer, Fox & Fox, launches trio of sparkling wines to raise funds for The Drinks Trust and help those affected by Covid-19.
In a bid to deliver some sparkle and lift spirits as the country navigates through the unprecedented and challenging Covid-19 outbreak, East Sussex-based boutique wine producer Fox & Fox has launched a trio of sparkling wines to help raise funds for two charities supporting those affected by the crisis.
From each sale of Foxy Rescue Remedy, the three-bottle tasting pack, £10 will be divided equally and donated to The Drinks Trust, formerly The Benevolent, who has launched a new campaign to support sommeliers and bar, restaurant and club staff who are currently unable to work; and the Sussex Community Foundation, who is providing vital support for local food banks as well as caring for vulnerable people.

The Foxy Rescue Remedy tasting pack contains three of Fox & Fox’s highly-acclaimed traditional method English sparkling wines. Only available to purchase in this tasting case, the 97-point Decanter Platinum award-winner Tradition, 2014, is an English take on the classic Blanc de Noirs style. Made with minimal intervention in the winery, to let all the fruit speak for itself, Tradition has a satisfying depth, with high notes of ripe apple and a nuance of peach.
Known as the Mayfield-based producer’s ‘cult wine’, Essence Pure Chardonnay Brut, 2014, is a pure un-oaked Chardonnay with glorious burst of citrus and ripe apple flavours. Finally, Inspiration is a unique blend produced predominantly from delicious Pinot gris, with a dash of ripe Chardonnay, to make a beautifully balanced fizz, full of small bubbles and enticing zesty fruit flavours.
