From The Deep Blue Sea Cocktail
6th July 2023
From the beautiful country of Iceland, we’re crafting an original cocktail inspired by the deep blue sea, incorporating Reyka Vodka from Iceland and No.1 Family Estate’s Cuvée No.1 Traditional Method Sparkling Wine from New Zealand.
The Sparkling Wine – No.1 Family Estate
No.1 Family Estate was born in 1977 by Adele & Daniel, they chose the name No.1 Family Estate in recognition of the many ‘firsts’ in New Zealand wine they had achieved over the years while working on their first venture, Cellier Le Brun.
They released their very first Cuvée No.1 on Bastille Day in 1999 and in 2012 their No.1 Assemblé was the first wine in New Zealand to be labelled ‘Méthode Marlborough’ in place of Méthode Traditionelle.

Vodka – Reyka
Reyka Vodka is a small batch, handcrafted Vodka from the country of Iceland, their website is a sight to behold, creative and visually appealing pictures transport you from the deep blue sea to the northern lights.
The water they use for their Vodka flows through a 4,000-year-old lava field, making it some of the purest water in the world and they use their underground volcanoes to produce geothermal energy which is very environmentally friendly.
Aroma “Vodka takes on an almost expressionless character, but this Iceland vodka is smooth, very much creamy.”
Flavour “Flavour also takes on a creamy character, smooth with the classic vodka taste.”
