Vina Colja – Carmi Penina
Located in the Braniška Valley, right next to the main road Sežana – Nova Gorica, in the hamlet of Steske. The oldest surviving written record of their activity dates back to 1908 when Nono Franc became a member of the Wine and Fruit Society in what was then Rihemberg, now Branik, then at the end of the 1980s, they decided to devote themselves solely to viticulture.
The Sparkling Wines produced at Vina Colj are made in the classic method from Malvazija, Chardonnay, and Yellow Muscat grapes, the vineyards Colja are perfectly placed on the sunny slopes of the Braniška Valley.
In 1999, they constructed a new, modern stone wine cellar, and they also have a tasting room capable of hosting 50 people, you can book to journey on a guided tour of the cellar and tasting afterwards.

The Rum – Welsh Witch
Launched in 2019 by The Welsh Witch herself, Jade Garston, born in a small village in North Wales. A Beltane baby, a May Queen, a Goddess of Love. She cast her spell and created Wild Moon Distillery, which has now expanded its range of Premium Spirits, this time we’re discovering her Mabon Rum.
‘From the Welsh haunted hills comes the tale of a Witch. Lives by the sun and loves by the moon, she possesses a potion of which. Distilled to perfection and infused botanically by beautiful Enchantress so magically. Cleansed and inspired with love and light, this mysterious Welsh Witch of the Night.’
Inspired by the celebration of Mabon, a God of Welsh mythology – the Child of Light and the son of the Earth Mother Goddess. This is the Second Harvest, the Fruit Harvest and the Great Feast of Thanksgiving.
The apple is the symbol of the Fruit Harvest, featuring significantly in many sacred traditions. It is a symbol for life and immortality, for healing, renewal, regeneration and wholeness. It is associated with beauty, long life and restored youth.
