“A warm, oaky character with pressed dark red berries soaking within, wooden spices to root on the aroma with a faint hint of caramelised cherries. With time, an expression of dark fig chocolate forms on the aroma. The palate offers a welcoming, smooth warmth. It’s rounded with characters of oak, bark, woody spices from the rum, and glazed/burnt cherries and cranberries.” – Glass of Bubbly
With the addition of a twist of Black Pepper: “It’ll add an element of spice to the aroma and offers the palate a further kick that alivens the senses”
Paltrinieri – Solco – Lambrusco
“When I finished my studies, my father asked me what I wanted to do in life. My answer was that I wanted to keep alive the tradition of the work that grandfather Achille had started in 1926 and that he and my mother had been managing for 40 years. In 1998, with my wife Barbara, I began to directly manage the winery, betting on the production of the first pure Sorbara. Since then, I have been tending and vinifying 17 hectares of vineyards in the historic area of Cristo di Sorbara, the thinnest extension of land between the Secchia and the Panaro, the two rivers that embrace the province of Modena. “ – Alberto Paltrinieri
“Light toasty jams, brioche and pastries, red berries, and dark red berries. Touch of sweet red berries, blackberries, and mellowed notes.” – Glass of Bubbly
