Grower Champagne: Thierry Rodez
27th February 2016
Champagne Thierry Rodez is situated in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, south of Reims. Thierry is a fifth generation winemaker. This small Champagne producer owns 3.4 hectares of vines, and all the grapes are pressed, vinified and sold on site.
The family are very welcoming and the estate is open year all round (except August). They are always delighted to invite guests for a tour of their beautiful vineyard and degustation of their Champagne range. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and want an authentic insight into the lightstyle of a small, traditional vigneron. Call ahead to arrange a visit in English.

Brut Réserve
This NV Brut has aged longer in the cellars (4-5 years) in order to develop its smokey, brioche undertones.
Rosé Brut
This rosé with its superb salmon-pink tints and aromas of ripe well-scented fruit is lovely as an aperitif or with desserts.
Cuvée Extra Brut
Produced from the best years’ harvests, the Extra Brut will take you on a voyage of authenticity to the heart of the Ambonnay vineyard. For drinking as an aperitif or with seafood and shellfish.
Cuvée Blanc de Noir 2004
Made with 100% t Pinot Noir grapes the Blanc de Noir 2004 is an intense and aromatic Champagne.
