How To Make A Cheesecake Cocktail
30th January 2020
If you are looking to do something special and a little different for your Valentine, then why not try making a Cheesecake Cocktail with an award winning Sparkling Wine.
The Sparkling Wine
As Valentine’s Day is all about love, it only seemed right to pick a Sparkling Wine from our First Date category, the perfect wine to accompany you on a first date, not too complex, but enjoyable to drink and could turn out to be a conversation starter.
As this Cocktail looked so fabulous, we decided to include our Trophy winner from the First Date Category – Schlumberger Rosé Brut Klassik.
Schlumberger dates all the way back to 1842, it has Austria’s oldest and biggest sparkling wine cellar, which, if you are ever in Austria, you can visit, they offer a 90 minute guided tour from only €11 per person, if you are interested you can find out more here.
Don’t just include the Rosé in the Cocktail, pour a couple of extra glasses to enjoy with your loved one as well.
Tasting Notes “Refreshing strawberry and raspberry aromas with slightly creamy strawberry flavours.”
The Schlumberger Rosé Brut Klassik from Austria won the Trophy in the First Date Category in The Glass of Bubbly Awards 2019.

Cheesecake Cocktail Tasting Notes
Aroma – ” Your nose is welcomed in with digestive biscuits and creamy strawberries.”
Taste – “Smooth, Creamy & Delicious are the three words I would use to describe this Cocktail. You get the taste of the alcohol along with the strawberries and digestive biscuits, it’s all delivered to your mouth in a creamy texture, the Schlumberger Rosé is perfect for the Cocktail, it adds to the strawberry flavours, you also get the cream cheesiness from it, making this a fantastic Cheesecake Cocktail.”
I believe that the Schlumberger Rosé Brut Klassik was a great choice to include in this Cheesecake Cocktail, it added so nicely to the flavours and experience.
The inspiration for this was ‘Cheesecake Cocktail’ from The Domestic Geek.
