Italian Sparkling Wine Cocktails

The Italians are known for producing a high level of quality, from their cars to fashion, to their sparkling wines to spirits, whenever you travel to the country you eat well, with good, high quality and healthy foods, and the Italians can enjoy a glass of wine with every meal.
This quality includes their cocktails, as they utilise their own products with these, produced locally, with Italian ingredients.
Crafting some of these Italian Cocktails at home requires some good quality Italian ingredients, and sourcing them here in the UK has never been easier.
Italicus Spritz
• Ingredients:
◦ 1 Part Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto
◦ 2 Parts Processo
• Glass: Wine Glass / Tumbler
• Decoration: 3 Green Olives
Preparation: Fill the glass with ice, pour in ingredients and garnish.
The word ‘Rosolio’ comes from the Latin ‘ros olis’ translated in English as ‘morning dew’.
Before the appearance of Vermouth & Amaro in Italy, Rosolio was the main drink enjoyed by the king of Savoia and often served as Aperitivo di Corte’

• Ingredients:
◦ 40ml Savoia Americano Rosso
◦ 15ml Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto
◦ 50ml Prosecco
• Glass: Tall tumbler
• Decoration: Red rose petal and edible gold dust
Preparation: Mix the ingredients and serve in a glass with ice. For a luxurious finish, garnish with a red rose petal and a sprinkle of edible gold dust.

A Dashing Morning
• Ingredients:
◦ 30mls Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto
◦ 100mls Prosecco
◦ A Dash of Ginger Syrup
• Glass: Wine Glass
• Decoration: Ginger Powder
Preparation: Pour the Italicus and a dash of Gingery Syrup, mix and add Prosecco, and garnish with Ginger Powder.
