Italian sparkling wine selection from The Art of Wines
26th June 2015
Falanghina Brut
Characteristics: pale yellow, bright, white foam, “perlage” fine-grained and persistent. The nose hints of bitter yellow fruit and bread crust. The palate is dry, fresh and slightly mineral, with subsequent variations of softness that make it an excellent companion to the table.
Serving suggestions: Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany a whole meal dishes of grilled fish or seafood. But also excellent with dishes like rural medium cheese or salami medium flavor.
Moscato
Aromatic and fruity wine with a sweet taste, suitable for combinations to fine pastries and fruit.
Food pairings: The sweet flavor rightly makes it suitable for combinations to fine pastries and fruit. Land of origin: the hills of the town of Santa Maria della Versa.
Fiano Brut
Fiano grapes 100%. Works as an aperitif, throughout the meal with dishes of fish and particularly with lobster and seafood.
