Kir Royale, Champagne & Blackcurrant Cocktail
2nd September 2015
This cocktail is a bubbly twist on a popular French recipe.
The Kir cocktail is originally made with crème de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) topped up with white wine. However to make it more interesting, swap the white wine for Champagne.
This cocktail is perfect as an apéritif or to drink alongside a meal.
- 1 part crème de cassis
- 9 parts Champagne
- Raspberries for garnish.
Add the crème de cassis to the bottom of the glass then top up with Champagne. Best served in a Champagne flute.
