La Gioiosa embodies the tradition of winemaking that the highly respected Moretti Polegato family has been carrying out for generations. The name pays tribute to the old definition of the province of Treviso, “Marca gioiosa et amorosa” (Joyous and Amorous March), underlining the sociable lifestyle of its inhabitants.
“A lively and frothy welcome, with notes of pink grapefruit, green and white pears, a touch of juicy peach, with floral characters, good concentration of gooseberry alongside a touch of cucumber and a hint of thyme and fennel along with a spicy element. Layers of herbs would pair perfectly with vegetarian cuisine.” – Glass of Bubbly
