Lanson releases Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs 2000

The House of Lanson releases Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs 2000 from its private cellars exclusively to selected on trade customers and fine wine specialists in time for the festive season.

Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs 2000 – the ‘outstanding’ gold medal winner  – is a prestige Cuvée, based on a rigorous selection of Chardonnay grapes obtained exclusively from the Grand Cru vineyards of Avize and Cramant and is the perfect indulgence for the festive season.

The Noble Cuvée range consisting of a Brut and Rosé, as well as the Blanc de Blancs, is presented in an elegant bottle reminiscent of the Champagne bottles of the 18th Century and is the ultimate expression of the Lanson style. Over the years, selected Cuvées have been listed in legendary venues, such as George V and Plaza Athénée hotels in Paris.

Paul Beavis, Managing Director, UK & International: “Our Noble Cuvée is the ultimate expression of the Champagne Lanson style. Over the last 30 years, only 10 vintages have been selected for the Noble Cuvée Brut and we are thrilled to have this stylish and superior Blanc de Blancs 2000 added to our core offering in time for the festive season.

Champagne Lanson Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs 2000 perfectly combines the character of Chardonnay with the classic style of Lanson. Honouring the generations that gave the House its name, this Champagne is a divine apéritif or complement to any outstanding seafood dish. Light gold in colour, sweet aromas of white flowers and hints of honey are set off by citrus fruit notes. On the palate, delightful fruity flavours of summer pears and yellow peaches combine for an elegant finish.
