LVMH Champagne Portfolio Sees Sales Increase

LVMH luxury goods group, whose Champagne portfolio includes Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon and Krug, has reported a 7% increase in its wines and spirits revenue.

Its wines and spirits brands came ahead of perfumes and cosmetics and fashion and jewellery, with a 17% increase in profit to €565 million.  Its prestige Champagne vintages in particular fuelled the portfolio’s gains in Europe and the US.

Its total revenues increased by 3% to €17.2bn, and its net profits totalled €1.7bn – an increase of 8% over the past year.
