Moët & Chandon is the official Champagne of Silverstone
28th May 2026
Moët Hennessy announces a long-term partnership with Silverstone, the iconic home of the British Grand Prix, with Moët & Chandon as the official Champagne. Following its partnership with the Automobile Club de Monaco, Moët Hennessy continues to strengthen its presence across Formula One’s most legendary circuits, building on a heritage rooted in the sport since 1950. New for 2026, Moët & Chandon will be opening a bespoke hospitality area for Formula 1, Grand Prix Weekend – transforming a luxury space within the Silverstone Fusion club into an immersive brand home, the Moët & Chandon Club.
There are places that shape history, and others that define it. Silverstone belongs to both. It was here, in 1950, that Formula One was born, setting in motion a legacy of speed, courage and innovation that continues to captivate the world. Decades later, the circuit remains a stage where legends are made, where engineering meets emotion, and where every race writes a new chapter in the story of motorsport.
This partnership resonates deeply with the spirit of Moët Hennessy, Official Partner of Formula One, whose Maisons have, for centuries, shaped a living heritage of craftmanship, excellence and transmission. Like Silverstone, they stand at the crossroads of history and modernity, where tradition is lived and elevated.
As part of the partnership, the full portfolio will be present at Silverstone, contributing to a world-class hospitality experience that reflects the very essence of Moët Hennessy: bringing people together to celebrate living memories.
Moët & Chandon, the Official Champagne of Formula 1, a brand synonymous with the race, from the on-track celebrations with the iconic podium spray to the off-track feeling of bringing everyone together to unite and watch. The brand is set to elevate the hospitality experience at Silverstone Circuit with the transformation of the trackside, VIP area of the Silverstone Fusion Lounge into the exclusive Moët & Chandon Club, a refined and immersive destination designed to celebrate the spirit and legacy of this iconic race. This newly curated hospitality space invites guests into the wonderful world of Moët, where visitors will discover a rare exhibition of historic podium bottles, each personally signed by legendary Formula 1 drivers, a tribute to the sport’s most iconic moments.
Enhancing the experience further, guests will have the opportunity to own a pre-engraved Moët & Chandon bottle, creating a bespoke keepsake that captures the essence of the occasion. A selection of specially curated Champagne cocktails will also be available, showcasing the Maison’s signature style through innovative and elegant serves. To round off the experience, guests are invited to step into the spotlight with a podium-inspired photo moment capturing the exhilaration of victory in a truly unforgettable way.
The Moët & Chandon Club promises to be a standout destination at Silverstone, blending the buzz of Formula 1 with the timeless sophistication of one of the world’s most celebrated champagne houses. Moët & Chandon’s takeover of the Fusion Lounge at Silverstone marks a natural homecoming for the Maison as the Official Champagne of Formula 1, bringing its spirit of celebration to one of the sport’s most iconic race weekends.
“Silverstone holds a unique place in the world of motorsport, and we’re proud to be partnering with them throughout the year, with the F1 weekend standing out as a defining moment in that partnership. With Moët & Chandon as the official champagne sponsor, we’re pleased to bring a sense of celebration and elegance to one of the most prestigious events in sport.” Julie Nollet, Managing Director, UK & Ireland – Moët Hennessy.
“Silverstone has long been at the heart of motorsport, a place where legends are born and history is written. We are delighted to extend our partnership with Moët Hennessy continuing to bring together two worlds defined by heritage, craftmanship and timeless excellence.” Rachel James, Head of Partnerships, Silverstone.
Moët & Chandon’s connection to Formula 1® is legendary. It began in 1950 at the Reims Grand PrixTM, when Frédéric Chandon de Briailles spontaneously offered a bottle to the race winner. From that single act, a timeless ritual emerged, the Celebratory Jeroboam, a symbol of victory, collective emotion, and enduring celebration, honoring champions past and present.
Deep within the Maison’s historic cellars in Épernay, vaults safeguard a rare and precious reserve of Jeroboams, each one destined for Formula 1. There, in the stillness of time and tradition, these exceptional bottles await their moment of triumph. Once at their destination on the Grand PrixTM circuit, the Jeroboams are signed by the race winners and shared with the winning teams on the podium, igniting an explosion of joy and celebration. Each bottle carries decades of history, generations of champions’ signatures, and the silent testimony of countless victories, unforgettable achievements, and the electric thrill of champions celebrated together.
Beyond the iconic bottle and the ritual it crowns, Moët & Chandon and Formula 1® share a profound kinship: both are built on precision, excellence, and human mastery. The exacting gestures of a driver mirror the careful craft of champagne-making, while the tireless dedication of pit crews reflects the expertise of cellar masters. Both worlds are driven by passion, emotion, and the joy of shared triumphs. Every victory, every bottle, every lifted toast echoes this unwavering commitment to excellence and human skill.
“As we enter our second season back in Formula 1®, our partnership moves beyond a return to become a lasting presence. United by the same pursuit of precision and excellence. Moët & Chandon and Formula 1 celebrate the craftsmanship, teamwork, and passion that define both our worlds. Together, we continue to elevate the podium into a moment of shared victory — honoring the collective spirit behind every achievement.” Sibylle Scherer, President & CEO of Moët & Chandon
