Champagne Lanson – Le Blanc de Blancs

This blend contains the harvest base of 2017 with 40% reserve wines with 100% Chardonnay.
Gastronomic Food Pairings include: Scallops’ Carpaccio with lime and yuzu lemon + Croque-Madame with Reims’ Ham.
Tasting Notes – “A fine blend of pure Chardonnay, with a delicate touch of minerals and saline freshness, along with candied citrus, green pears, dried fruits and a touch of chalkiness, a true example of what you expect from a Chardonnay Champagne.”
Champagne Lanson – Le Black Création – 258th Blend
“Each Création is a unique recipe, an opportunity to take the precision of the blends even further while never staying from the iconic fresh and elegant style of Maison Lanson.” Hervé Dantan – Cellar Master at Maison Lanson
The blend contains 68% of the base harvest of 2018, along with 32% of reserve wine from the years of 08, 09, 13, 14, 15, 16, & 17, the grapes within contain 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay & 15% Meunier.
Gastronomic Food Pairings include: Mushroom ravioli with Parmesan shavings + Salmon fish & chips with sweet potato fries.
Tasting Notes – “Green pears, tangy and citrus fruits, along with notes of pastries on the aroma. Freshly picked and ripe orchard fruits, grapefruits, lemon notes, and freshly baked brioche on the palate.”
Champagne Lanson – Le Rosé Création – 67th Blend
“Each Rosé Création is a unique and delicate blend that reinterprets the characteristic elegance and freshness of the Lanson style, with a fruity signature.” Hervé Dantan – Cellar Master at Maison Lanson
The blend contains 71% of the base harvest of 2019, along with 29% of reserve wine from the years of 2016 (12.9%) 2017 (4.6%) & 2018 (11,5%), the grapes within contain 52% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay & 14% Meunier.
Gastronomic Food Pairings include: Half cooked Salmon in sesame crust and small fennel + Tuna tataki with soy sauce, ginger and wasabi.
Tasting Notes – “Pomegranate, red berries, blood oranges on the aroma. The palate delivers pink floral notes, fresh strawberries, red berries and a mineral crispness.”
