New Rooftop Champagne Bar for Leeds

The new John Lewis site in Leeds is planning a rooftop Champagne bar and restaurant.

The venue will include a retractable canopy and would be at the top of the eight level store.

It is looking to partner with Searcys, which was founded in 1847 by John Searcy, the pastry chef to the Duke of Northumberland.

It now has 29 venues, including at St Pancras station, known for its longest bar and at the top of The Gherkin.
