No.1 Family Estate: Cuvée Remy 2007

Founder/Winemaker Daniel Le Brun created this ultimate cuvée in honour of his son, Remy Le Brun.  It was officially released in January 2010 on his 21st birthday. The wine is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir, giving structure and power and 20% Chardonnay which contributes richness and finesse.

Tasting Notes:

This Vintage wine (2007) has a tightly focussed bouquet showing sweet biscuity notes, a touch of flint combined with sour cream. Lightly toasted hazelnuts define a very complete palate, which is fine and long in the mouth, finishing on a satisfyingly rich but dry note. Mid straw in colour with attractive gold hues.
