Original & Distinctive’s “Small Producer ‘Sparkling’ Tasting is an overwhelming success

Original & Distinctive’s (O&D™) first Trade Tasting of 2015, held on 11th February in the Library of the Grade II listed Georgian building Pushkin House in London, was an overwhelming success.

Sponsored by Glass of Bubbly, O&D™ welcomed a number of well known aficionados including: Michael Edwards; Jilly Goolden; Fiona Beckett; Henriette Green; Richard Bampfield MW; & Rupert Wollheim MW; as well as many others from the On- and Off-trade and trade press.

O&D™ presented:

25 Grower Champagnes from eleven suppliers plus, the Coupe Stack (Champagne Tower).

4 English Sparkling Wines from Blackboys, Bolney Estate, Bluebell & Hush Heath.

Ken Davey, Founder and Managing Director, said the turnout was fantastic; demonstrating that the On- and Off-trade, and trade press, were keen to support the niche wholesalers that focused on premium, artisan drink products from small producers.
