Pierre Jourdan Cap Classique
16th May 2015
In the Franschhoek Mountains of South Africa, Haute Cabrière – The Home of Pierre Jourdan Cap Classique – is one of Franschhoek’s most exquisite food and wine destinations, where visitors get to experience a deep passion for wine, a culture of wine pairing and the art of sabrage.
Chairman Achim von Arnim is certainly a pioneer in the South African wine industry, known for his spectacular blends. He has a strong appreciation for the French wine culture and it’s a strong influence for the winemaking for Pierre Jourdan.
Pierre Jourdan is made from two grape varieties; Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
All Pierre Jourdan Cap Classiques are fermented in the bottle and left in contact with the yeast for as long as possible allowing for the development of extra charm and complexity. The fine natural sparkle produced by the fermentation in the bottle, is experienced like a feather on the tongue, turning the find mousse into a burst of flavour.
If you visit, you can try out the Haute Cabrière Cellar Restaurant as well as their tasting room for an exclusive wine experience.
