We have our heading, hoist the sails, raise the anchor and let’s ride the open ocean of life.
The Sailing To You Cocktail was created to give you some added wind in your sails when searching for love, life or adventure, a pick-me-up of sorts, to remind you, you’re still on the right path.
The Prosecco – Villa Sandi
Villa Sandi produces what seems to be an endless supply of wonderful Prosecco, without ever compromising on quality, no matter what bottle you decide to pick up, especially including their outstanding Trophy Winning Rosé Prosseco, you will get an enjoyable experience.
“The ‘il Fresco’ range from Villa Sandi translates to ‘The Fresh’ range which hopefully gives you an idea of the style of wine you will be enjoying.”
Located in the picturesque region of Prosecco, Villa Sandi has had a foothold in the region since 1622, thanks to their Palladian-style Villa located among the green hills of the Marca Trevigiana, the Moretti Polegato family, for several generations, have dedicated their time to producing and sharing their Wines, Sparkling Wines and Proseccos around the world.
You can explore The Sparkling Wines of Villa Sandi right here on Glass of Bubbly to discover their wonderful range.

The Rum – Two Drifters
“A Journey That Takes You Away, A Truth That Brings You Home”
Created from the love and passion between husband and wife, Russ and Gemma Wakeham, from Devon, the decision to create their own Rum didn’t come as a big surprise, as the adventurous spirit has always been a part of their lives, from their first date (rum tasting) through to their honeymoon (St. Lucia), Rum has been with them throughout every unforgettable moment in their lives together, along with most Friday nights.
Two Drifters was created in 2019, but the initial idea came before whilst working in Vancouver, Canada. The name Two Drifters comes from Gemma walking up the aisle on their wedding day to Moon River and both knowing that it meant, ‘Two Drifters off to see the world.’ Chemistry took Russ and Gemma far and wide, but they both knew that Devon was home and where they wanted to be.
Two Drifters – Signature Rum – Tasting Notes – “Lovely fresh oak, woody characters, with a sweet zest of an orange peel, brown sugar to bring an element of sweetness to the subtle notes of zest and sweet spice of nutmeg, and even a hint of tobacco to experience.”
I reached out to Gemma Wakeham the CMO & Director of Two Drifters to ask, Where Will Two Drifters Be Sailing In The Future?
“Our mission, from the start, has always been to influence the drinks industry by making world class rum without contributing towards global warming. If we can show that a truly sustainable spirit is chosen over another, then brands will need to do more to reduce their own environmental impact. We now have national UK distribution, we ship to over 10 EU countries, our rums are available in Canada and Israel and we have just secured a contract with a major British airline, to be the rum onboard all their planes and we’re only 3.5 years old! The next few years will be focusing on growth and getting our name, story and rums in front of more people. Just by drinking our rum, you avoid CO2 from entering the atmosphere, we just need to keep making our rums as delicious as possible!” – Gemma Wakeham
