Shebo Winery

Shebo Winery is a prominent Slovakian wine producer based in Modra and Trnava, managing over 500 hectares of vineyards, specialising in varietals that thrive in the Modra area, such as Silvaner, Veltliner, and Riesling.

Renowned for its ‘Slovak Rivers’ series and Chateau Modra brand, the winery focuses on high-quality red and white wines, deeply rooted in family tradition with a 10th-11th generation heritage.

They also produce Sekt Pálffy, award-winning sparkling wines produced using the traditional method.

White sparkling with light golden colour, persistent perlage, and clean aromas.

Tasting notes: Fresh vibrant aromas of pineapple, cantaloupe, pink grapefruit and apricot. Rich on the palate with tropical sweetness and lemon curd, then apricot lingers on the finish.

Sekt Pálffy Brut L 665

This Non-Vintage Brut is noted for its high-quality, harmonious taste, often crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc.

Tasting notes: Lemon curd and orange zest with orchard fruits and creamy notes in aroma. Rich creamy palate with notes of camomile, pink grapefruit and greengages. The creaminess is overlaid with hazelnut and honeycomb.

Sekt Pálffy Extra Dry L 658

Known for a crisp, intense, and persistent perlage and has a light golden colour.

Tasting notes: Yeast, butter and cream with mineral notes and a nutty oaky element. A spicy finish with lemon.

This white brut sparkling wine is characterised by a dry and fruity flavour profile, typically made from Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc.
