Charmat method: vineyard at 1400m altitude, so fresh & fruity, very light coloured, plenty of bubbles, easy-drinking fizz..

Amadeu Brut Champenoise 2012  


18 months lees ageing; 80:20 Chard/Pinot N; stone fruit, floral nose, shows some complexity. Light colour & body, dry to off-dry

Amadeu Brut Rose Champenoise 2012  


As above, 100% PN, intriguing pink/russet colour; ripe summer fruits on nose; good mouth weight; highly versatile

Campos de Cima Brut Champenoise 2011

24 months lees ageing ; 70 :30 Chard/Pinot N ; deep gold colour, vibrant tropical nose, ripe fruits on palate, with some brioche yeastiness, fresh acidity.

Campose de Cima Extra Champenoise 2011


As above, but with dosage of just 3.8gm/ltr res.sugar. Makes for much leaner style, more mineral character.

Cave Geisse Terroir Nature 2009


Methode Champenoise sparkling wine, 68% Chardonnay and 32% Pinot Noir. 36 months maturation on lees.

Bright straw colour with intense, persistent fine bubbles (‘perlage’). White flowers, apricot, apple and yeastiness on the nose. Honeyed and crystalised fruit on the palate. Full bodied, generous mouth fill and long lingering finish.

Cave Geisse Terroir Rose Champenoise 2009 


Methode Champenoise sparkling wine, 100% Pinot Noir. 36 months maturation on lees.

Clear, characteristic onion skin colour with dark caramel highlights. Very small, intense and persistent bubbles. Complex but delicious nose, touches of honey, hazelnuts and red fruits, with strawberry aromas especially pronounced. Delicious creamy mousse, palate shows more red fruits, brioche, toast and honey.

Casa Valduga Gran Reserva Brut 130 NV

Blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, produced in the traditional Methode Champenoise manner, and with 36 months ageing on the lees. Some oak – around 20% of blend is oak aged for 6 months. Gold colour, fine mousse. Elegant and spicy bouquet with fruit aromas reminiscent of almonds and tropical fruits. Balanced acidity, well rounded, good length.
