Visit Stanlake Park Wine Estate in Berkshire
15th August 2025
Stanlake Park, in Berkshire, is a historic estate and vineyard dating back to the 12th century. It is one of the oldest wine producers in England, with 40-year-old vines and is known for producing award-winning English wines.
There are 4 vineyards at Stanlake Park, spread-out across the 130 acre site and occupying 10% of the land. The names of the vineyards were given many years ago in line with the long history of the estate.
Guests on a tour get to visit the Stallion Vineyard, whereas the Walled Garden is typically reserved for wedding guests. The Cricket Field is visitable on some non-wedding days, whereas the Ruscombe Vineyard is private as surrounded by the estate’s livestock.
They offer Tours and Wine Tastings that are fun and educational. You will learn how wine is made and discover all the challenges of growing grapes in England. No prior wine knowledge is required; their experienced guides will talk you through all the ups and downs of English winemaking during the tour.
Explore the vineyard and winery, taste generous samples of different wines along the way, and relax with some cheese & charcuterie boards and an extra glass of wine in their Wine Bar or walled garden after the tour – an unforgettable afternoon!
The estate also functions as a popular wedding venue, boasting stunning barns and a picturesque vineyard setting. There is also beautiful accommodation on the estate with a luxury villa housing four double bedrooms, and a charming one bedroom cottage overlooking the Stallion Vineyard.
