Texture, Scandinavian Restaurant & Champagne Bar, London

10th November 2015

Texture

Texture is an award winning Michelin-starred modern European restaurant and Champagne bar, established in 2007.

The menu at Texture is heavily influenced by Scandinavian cuisine, combining local British produce with ingredients from Iceland – the owner’s, Aggi Sverrisson, homeland.

It’s located inside a beautifully restored Georgian building on Portman Square in the heart of Mayfair, and just minutes from Oxford Street.

As well as a Scandianavian-style feast, Texture also has an impressive Champagne bar boasting one of the most extensive Champagne lists in London. They have a selection of 140 Champagnes by the bottle, and a further 5 by the glass.

What’s more interesting, they give notes with each glass to help “enable visitors to learn about the history, cultivation and creation process of each champagne selection.” Great for those new to Champagne and enthusiasts alike!
