The Butterfly Effect Cocktail
4th April 2023
Is the delicate flap on a butterfly’s wings all that’s required to cause the effects of a typhoon? It’s true that the things we do, no matter how small, have an effect on the future, both distant and near, impacting not just ourselves, but the ones around us and the ones who come after us.
The tone of your voice, the emotion on your face, the decision to act now or later, everything has a rippling effect, that’s why it’s so important to remember how in control we can be of our lives, it only takes conscious action, because we can be the butterfly, but instead of creating a typhoon, we could create something amazing.
Whether you choose to read on, go onto something else or craft this beautiful Butterfly Cocktail for yourself, you’ll forever change the outcome of your day, and in turn the outcome of your life.
The Prosecco – Ruggeri
Deeply rooted in the tradition of winemaking, the history of Ruggeri began in 1950, founded by Giustino Bisol and his cousin, whose surname, Ruggeri, they adopted as part of the brand for their company.
In the early days, Ruggeri was one of only a handful of producers around Valdobbiadene focused on sparkling wine. Giustino’s son Paolo and granddaughter Isabella have since taken the company forward with the same pioneering spirit.
Ruggeri – Argeo Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut – Tasting Notes
Aroma – “An array of green fruits, green apple, baked cooking apple sprinkled with brown sugar, green pears and lovely floral notes on top.”
Flavour – “Green fruits touch on the palate, cooking apples, with floral and blossom flavours.”
Silver Medal in the Spring Fling Category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2022
The Vodka – One Vodka
The Spirit of One, or One Brand, was launched on World Water Day in 2017 with them releasing their One Gin, however their One Vodka is what we’ve got here to enjoy today. The bottle design of their spirits perfectly displays an image of a butterfly, and if you find yourself holding a bottle, make sure to read the hidden message on the back label, you’ll see!
One Vodka – Tasting Notes

The Butterfly Effect Cocktail Tasting Notes
Aroma – “Sweet, silky, herbal, the cream soda leads into the sage characters with delicate touches of floral notes.
Flavour – “A gentle touch of sweet ginger takes the palate forward towards creamy soda, green fruits and floral notes from the Prosecco, with hints of red berries and herbal notes coming through, it’s gentle and sweet like a flower, but holds within it enough strength, like a Venus flytrap, to pack a punch. You may end up having seconds thanks to how welcoming this tastes.”
