The Champagne Room at the Connaught
15th July 2015
The Champagne Room at the Connaught is a hidden gem, at the heart of the hotel. Choose from a selection of eight prestige Champagnes, fine wines and rare spirits, exclusive to the Connaught, all served in bespoke crystal Baccarat glasses.
This is the only bar in the world that serves Krug Clos du Mesnil (2003) Champagne by the glass.
There is also a very rare 1914 Vintage Pol Roger Champagne priced at £16,500.
The Champagne Room is a beautiful yet intimate place and only seats 25 people.
The Connaught traces its history to 1815 and got its present name in 1917, inspired by Queen Victoria’s seventh child, Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn. It’s associated more with titled European aristocrats than with Hollywood royalty.
