The tradition of Champagne Lanson’s exclusive sponsorship of the summer’s key sporting and social calendars has been confirmed for 2016.

Champagne Lanson will also be celebrating the continued growth of its Champagne Lanson Rose Label Brut Rosé NV – the UK’s No.1 Rosé by value and volume (Nielsen data) – which will feature prominently in all three of its sponsorship programmes; as well as the return of its exclusive, collectable and exceptionally popular Wimbledon neoprene ice jackets and Wimbledon foil bottles.

Champagne Lanson’s ‘The Perfect Start to…Summer’ campaign will begin with Chestertons Polo in the Park on 3rd-5th June 2016. This will be Champagne Lanson’s second year with partnering one of the most hotly anticipated fixtures on London’s sporting and social calendars.

Champagne Lanson will once again be creating its largest outdoor Champagne Garden, overlooking the field of play at Hurlingham Park – a glamorous focal point at last year’s event. As fashion and style is in Polo’s DNA, La Martina (the quality sports and leisurewear brand) and Champagne Lanson will be extending their partnership and creating a second limited edition polo shirt. These can be purchased from 16th May at the La Martina flagship Jermyn Street boutique before and after the event.

‘The Perfect Start to…Summer’ campaign continues with The Championships, Wimbledon, Champagne Lanson’s 39th associated year with the world’s favourite tennis tournament. Champagne Lanson is the ONLY Champagne poured throughout the tournament, an accolade Champagne Lanson has held exclusively for 15 years, since 2001.

Champagne Lanson will be available exclusively in all the bars and hospitality marquees in the grounds of The All England Club, as well as in key bars, restaurants and hotels as part of a wider Champagne Lanson ‘Wimbledon-themed’ marketing activation programme, which last year saw an unprecedented 133 activations around the country, making the summer season yet another key highlight for the brand.

And that’s not all… Champagne Lanson’s limited edition Wimbledon-themed neoprene ice jackets will, once again, be one of this year’s highlights. 2016’s neoprene ice jacket will see the return of the popular tennis polo shirt designs in navy and pink. The neoprenes will keep your Champagne cool for up to two hours after chilling – ideal for those hot balmy afternoons and evenings!

Champagne Lanson’s limited edition White Label Sec NV bottle, exclusive to the On Trade in hotels, bars and restaurants, will also include The All England Club’s logo and colours, inspired by the game of tennis itself. Champagne Lanson White Label Sec NV was the first Champagne in the world especially designed for experimenting with aromas.

It is the perfect style of Champagne to serve with a zest of orange, lemon, a strawberry or a sprig of mint, to enhance this cuvée’s refreshing style. The bottle’s appearance will also be white, which is very synergistic to the all-white clothing rule upheld at the Championships.



The Henley Festival concludes Champagne Lanson’s key summer sponsorship activities on 6th July which this year sees the return of the Champagne Lanson Bar situated on the edge of the picturesque River Thames – the perfect setting to enjoy the scenery and music by Sir Elton John and Dame Shirley Bassey, who will both be headlining this year’s spectacular line-up.
