Congratulations to Tohu with their Reserve Rewa Blanc de Blancs which received a Silver medal at The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly awards 2017.

A panel of 36 top industry wine judges tasted all the entries for 2017 and were able to not only scores wines with medals, but also place them in to easy to understand categories such as Classic & Elegant: “This will likely be a stylish wine showing balance with a refined quality.

This wine is a luminous, brilliant pale gold with a delicately fine persistent bead and a rich, creamy mousse as a result of extended lees aging in bottle and yeast autolysis. On the nose lifted aromas of bright citrus fruit and crisp apple are paired with hints of brioche and toasty yeast characteristics. Lively flavours of juicy citrus, ripe fruit and green apple are complimented with subtle nuttiness and mouth filling complexity on the palate. Finely balanced with bright acidity and a touch of minerality, this complex and weighty wine lends to perfectly elegant, long and crisp dry finish.
