The top 10 export markets for Champagne (by volume) in 2025 were led by the USA and the UK, which together consume a massive portion of exported bottles.
The United States continues to be the largest market for Champagne in the world, and despite a slight downturn in the US compared to 2024, demand remains strong for Champagne.
The United Kingdom is the second-largest market and has shown growth. Although the US market is significantly more valuable, partly because it has a higher proportion of luxury sales, the UK market has a larger share of ‘own-brand’ or lower-cost Champagne.
