Tropical Banana Prosecco Gin Cocktail

How To Make The Tropical Mason Cocktail

  • 20mls of Tropics Gin from Masons
  • A Couple of Drops of Vanilla Syrup
  • Top up with Prosecco
  • Fried Banana – Pan Fried in Butter, Maple Syrup + Cinnamon

Tasting Notes – “A moreish sensation of delicate smooth tropical notes, juicy and ripe, subtle and sweet, a lovely blend of mango, banana, apricot, pineapple, juniper, melons and white pears on a bed of smooth vanilla. The combination helps to draw out hidden tropical characters. When enjoyed with a slice of sweet fried banana it gifts a sweet explosion from the tropics and brings out some cinnamon notes.”

Paladin – Prosecco DOC Dry Tondo

Paladin Vigne e Vini is the first winery of the whole Casa Paladin group, it’s a family owned estate founded by our father in 1962, in Motta di Livenza, near Treviso.

Masons of Yorkshire

If we travel back to World Gin Day in 2013, we’ll see the creation of Yorkshire’s first gin, distilled to perfect by Masons of Yorkshire.

Masons of Yorkshire was created by hunsband and wife, Karl and Cathy Mason in 2012.

‘From every botanical that goes in the still, every drop of gin produced, every label applied and every phone call answered, this is the Masons Way. It’s the mantra we live by, and what makes us different from the rest.’ – Masons of Yorkshire

You can also watch the Story of Masons in a very interesting mini-documentary created by award-winning filmmakers Scott & Sid.

Tasting Notes – “A pleasing smoothness on the palate with vibrant tropical fruits, highlighted in a subtle maner, with notes of banana, pineapple and mangos, along with hints of juniper and grapefruit, a light citrus and a long finish in the palate.”
