Visit Bortolomiol in Italy
18th September 2025
Bortolomiol is situated in the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG area in Valdobbiadene, Italy. Founded in 1949 by Giuliano Bortolomiol, the winery is recognised for its pioneering spirit in developing the Prosecco Brut style and for its commitment to sustainable practices and the Valdobbiadene territory.
The winery is now run by Giuliano’s daughters and emphasises quality, environmental sustainability, and the connection between wine and the land.
Bortolomiol offers visitors an immersive experience focused on their DOCG Prosecco and the history of the region. They open their winery to wine enthusiasts through tours designed to introduce them to the production of Prosecco Superiore DOCG and its history. A fascinating journey through the organic vineyard and the winery, combining art and innovation, will lead guests to the heart of the company, Il Parco della Filandetta – Wine & Art Farm.
Parco della Filandetta is a restored silk mill which houses the winery, tasting room and a stone-stepped amphitheatre. Tours include vineyard visits, cellar tours, and guided tastings of their Prosecco.
In 2008, Bortolomiol chose to convert its vineyards to organic farming. The goal is to create a true Organic District in the heart of the Denomination. From the organic vineyard located in the heart of Valdobbiadene—inside the Filandetta Park—Ius Naturae Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Biologico is produced, a natural consequence of a production philosophy focused on sustainable and environmentally friendly viticulture practices.
