Weinviertler Sektmanufaktur Familie Hugl – Traminer x Welschriesling 2015 Christina Hugl – Bronze Summer Days

Congratulations to Weinviertler Sektmanufaktur Familie Hugl with their Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut NV which received a bronze medal at The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly awards 2017.

A panel of 36 top industry wine judges tasted all the entries for 2017 and were able to not only scores wines with medals, but also place them in to easy to understand categories such as Summer Days: “Does not have to be a highly complicated wine. Will offer a light, fruity and easy going taste.”

In the third generation, the Hugl family cultivates their current 5 hectares of vineyards in Stützenhofen, divided into the vineyards Pampich, Schachern, Spitzen and Wirtshausäcker.

Georg Hugl produces sparkling wines using the traditional methode since 1979 together with his wife Barbara. Their winery in Stützenhofen is situated in the north of the Weinviertel Region. Nowadays the oldest children, Christina & Daniel are working in the family owend winery as well. They both inspire the winery with new ideas.
