Wildwood Vineyard Blanc de Noirs
4th April 2025

Wildwood Vineyard was founded and is owned by three families – Paul and Andrea Olding, Paul’s Mum, Enid Olding and Andrea’s parents, Carol and Vic Greenway.
Paul took up the job of vineyard manager and was trained at Plumpton Wine Division, but that’s not all he does. Paul is also a TV writer/director during the week. He has also taught viticulture and wine business as a Lecturer at the Plumpton Wine Division.
Their journey began back in 2014 with the purchase of a barren plot of grassland and a shaw of ancient woodland. In 2016, they planted their field with Bacchus, two clones of Pinot Noir (FR1801 and GM1-11), and Regent. It would take another couple of years, until 2018, until they saw fruit for their first harvest.
“Rich acidic, zesty flavours, green citrus, yellow citrus, moreish in style, touch of baked cooking apples, and pastry, along with subtle floral notes.” – Glass of Bubbly
“A second release from our 2021 vintage, this Blanc de Noirs fizz is made in the traditional method. With 22 months ageing in bottle on the lees, this sumptuous sparkling wine has notes of baked apple and citrus on the nose, with balanced autolytic characters of toasted brioche, baked croissant and toasted nuts on the palate.” – Wildwood Vineyard
