Woodchurch Chardonnay Brut 2017

Woodchurch is a family business established by Graham and Donna Barbour in Kent during the year of 2009. They then planted 10,000 vines in 2010, with the vineyard being 20m above sea level, it has the perfect aspect for growing vines.

Woodchurch then released their first vintage in 2015 and are now producing a range of award-winning still and sparkling wines.

“A clotted cream and Bellini base to the palate with toasted brioche, a touch of caramel and honey, yellow plums, crushed yellow roses, rich and quite full-bodied, very crisp acidity, a hint of astringency giving extra grip, sappy and savoury, a hint of cheese, velvet mousse texture and good length.” – Glass of Bubbly

• Ageing: In oak barrels for 3 months and then for 5 years on lees in the bottle

Woodchurch welcomes visitors all year round, including tours and their shop, bar and restaurant are open Thursday to Sunday from 11am until 5pm.
