WSET Receives The Queen’s Award for Enterprise

The Wine and Spirit Education Trust has been given one of the UK’s highest business awards: The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2015 in International Trade.
WSET’s chief executive, Ian Harris and WSET’s Chairman of Trustees, James Simpson MW of Pol Roger, will attend a reception at Buckingham Palace on the 14 July, 2015 along with the other winners.
The Queen’s Awards, of which there are about 140 this year, are made annually by HM The Queen for the highest levels of business excellence in the fields of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.
Founded in 1969 as a UK-only training body, it has grown to become the world leader in wine and spirits education, delivering courses in 18 languages over 60 countries. In the last academic year 56,215 people worldwide sat for an internationally recognised WSET qualification.
